My 4th great grandmother

Margaret Allender Lashley was my 4th great grandmother. I have not been able to determine who her parents were. We are also hosting an Allender DNA surname study to try and see if we can determine how many lines are currently in the United States and to see if we can link them with Allenders around the world. Also visit our Allender Family Website please visit both of those websites

My Great Great Grandfather

Walter Jesse Wise was my great great grandfather. His death certificate lists his parents as Richard and Amanda Wise. Secondary evidence suggests his place of birth as Allegheny, Pennsylvania. I am unable to find him on the 1860, 1870, or 1880 Census. I am also looking for any siblings of his. He was in Cincinnati in December 1880 as he married at that time. If you have any information on Wise's from Pennsylvania, Walter, or any of his descendants please contact me.

My Great Great Grandfather

Marion Sanford Tripp was my great great grandfather. He was born in Vinton County, Ohio on 23 January 1865. The copy of his death certificates states his father's name as Oliver Tripp and no mother listed. There was another Tripp family in the Vinton County area of which there was an Oliver Ticen Tripp. Oliver Ticen Tripp was in the Civil War and was away from battle and recruiting in the Vinton County area in early 1864. On March 25, 1865 Oliver Tripp married Elizabeth Hanning and moved to Illinois and eventually settled in Kansas. I would ideally love to have a DNA test with a male descendant of Oliver Ticen Tripp. If you have any information on Marion or Oliver Tripp, I would love to hear from you. I hope in the future to go through court records and estate files in hopes of uncovering Marion's Parentage. I would love to collaborate with other descendants of Marion, and would also love to meet new cousins- I know there are a lot of Tripp's out there.
